The community supported repository for OpenManage with natively compiled.deb's for Ubuntu. How to set up. If you wish to install a particular version of OpenManage and *not* be automatically updated to the latest version when it comes out, follow the links below to one of the OpenManage versions in this repository. Download the installer for Dell OpenManage Server Administrator Managed Node (Windows),v7.3 to a Windows PC. Run and install the application. The installer will complain about it not being installed on Dell software but you can proceed with the server installation only.
There's nothing resembling that in Add Remove Programs. It's long since been uninstalled and rebooted. I even did CCcleaner, not that it found anything related in the registry. One of the articles I found in my 'Scavenger hunt' suggested removing components related to RAID and other drivers. Again nothing of the sort in Windows Components. Any ideas on what I can do to unwedge this?
