What does the 'SS' stand for in SS Plex? Technically, split-shift. It's a rubygem I've been working on in private for a while to pragmatically download files from online file hosting sites. There is also: ss-web: A webapp that can download TV at home by just pasting a URL. Check out this 100% working solution to fix Plex Media server connection. I have my Plex Server running on an iMac, everything is workin pretty well so far. The one thing I cannot get to work is the Watch Later feature of ss-plex. When I choose 'Watch Later' I get a pop-up that the item is being downloaded and I even see the 'already in library' button on the item. However, in the downloads section I see this. It doesn't matter how long I let it sit for, the % never changes. When I try to 'force success' or 'Force failure', I get the 'this channel is not responding' error. The only way to remove things from my downloads is the reset ss-plex all together.
I did some searching and found info about where ss-plex saves media, but I can't seem to figure out how/where to add these folders. I also read up about curl and wget, but apparently since I'm on Mac these shouldn't be an issue.
Any help would be appreciated!
Plex Watch Later Not Working
Edit: Of course after I make the post things start functioning properly. I added a folder to my plex channels called 'ss-plex'. Things now appear to be downloading.
